Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities and personnel of the shipping, receiving, and warehouse departments within the plant. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

  • Leads and oversees the shipping, receiving, storage, and movement of all finished product and purchased materials in accordance to company policies and procedures. 
  • Supervises the departmental personnel in their daily activities, schedules their workload, and ensures their compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures. 
  • Oversees and ensures the timely shipment of all finished product or other materials, and the accurate completion of all required documentation. 
  • Requisitions any tools, equipment or supplies as needed for the function of this department. 
  • Monitors departmental safety on a continual basis, and holds monthly employee safety meetings. 
  • Assists in the training and development of departmental personnel. 

The salary range for this position is $53,700 - $78,500 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.

Requirements

Your Background 

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. 

Experience: 

  • 4 - 6 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment - to include 2 or more years in a supervisory or team lead role OR
  • 4 - 6 years of Shipping / Receiving Clerk experience. 

Associate's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
