Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Receiving Coordinator - 1st Shift - RDC at our new site on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC. The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. Core hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm Why work at Eaton

What you'll do: The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will enter data for shipping/receiving orders and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing shipping and on hand counts in the warehouse. In this role you will: Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents of incoming/outgoing material.

Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal and global restrictions. Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert on the team. Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments.

Assist the department in loading/unloading of truck, scanning and tagging as needed. Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations. Provide process and safety improvement ideas.

Use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: One year of experience in logistics or warehouse environment. High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50 mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience using SAP.

Previous experience with fork lifts. Basic working knowledge and experience with computers. Skills: Position Criteria: Ability to follow procedures and written instructions.

Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures. Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand and bend frequently.
