Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Consistently practice safe work habits and comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. 

· Monitor and manage receiving overflow inventory to ensure materials are properly identified, organized, and processed. 

· Safely unload incoming trucks and verify that the quantity of crates, boxes, and materials received matches the accompanying documentation. 

· Coordinate receiving activities and communicate effectively with transportation drivers and delivery personnel. 

· Match incoming parts and materials to the appropriate Work Orders and supporting documentation. 

· Visually inspect incoming crates, boxes, and materials for shipment damage, discrepancies, quality concerns, and occasionally quantity accuracy. 

· Complete inventory receipt transactions for all inbound materials within established timeframes. 

· Process damage claims, maintain accurate claim documentation, and follow up as needed through resolution and closure. 

· Coordinate the timely distribution of received materials throughout the facility. 

· Complete receiving confirmations and maintain accurate records and documentation once shipments are received and processed. 

· Coordinate the collection and processing of waste and scrap materials, including wood, metal, cardboard, pallets, and other applicable materials. 

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area, including proper stock organization and routine user maintenance of equipment. 

· Identify opportunities to improve receiving processes and actively contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of department procedures. 

· Communicate receiving issues, discrepancies, damages, and other concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. 

· Perform other receiving, material handling, and logistics duties as assigned. ____________________________________________________________________________________

Minimum Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or relevant certificate is a plus. 

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in receiving, shipping, logistics, or related functions, including associated data entry. 

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in material handling and inventory control. 

· Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kanban processes is preferred. 

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, email, inventory/accounting systems, and shipping software such as UPS and FedEx. 

· Experience using barcode scanners and other inventory tracking equipment. 

· Current or previous forklift certification and demonstrated experience operating a forklift. 

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify quantities, documentation, and inventory transactions. 

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to overall team success. 

· Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. 

· Positive, dependable, and professional attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
