Job description

SHIPPING OPERATOR
Monday – Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm
$17.00 per hour, must be able to work overtime and weekends.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies throughout the facility
  • Prepare shipping documents, including packing slips and bills of lading
  • Ensure shipments are packaged safely, securely, and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist with general warehouse and shipping duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Basic math and computer skills required- must be able to pass a pre-employment math test
