How you create impact

The logistics coordinator is responsible for managing the daily flow of inbound and outbound trailers, goods, product flow, and inventory accuracy to ensure that client-specific shipping requirements are consistently met under a 4PL execution model.

Inventory, Systems & Data Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate TMS records by updating trailer, shipment, inventory, and movement information in real time to support operational visibility and customer requirements.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound volume flow against daily forecasts, identifying variances, congestion points, and risks to sortation or shipping timelines.

Inbound, Outbound & Yard Operations

  • Coordinate inbound/outbound freight activity by validating shipments, supporting timely receiving and shipping processes, and ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Manage yard, trailer, and dock flow by tracking trailer inventory, assigning dock doors, coordinating hostlers or spotters, and sequencing appointments based on labor, priority, and capacity.
  • Perform regular yard audits to ensure trailers and tractors are accurately reflected both physically and systemically.

Sortation Operations & Flow Management

  • Oversee sortation activities to maintain accurate package scanning, proper destination routing, and efficient product flow while minimizing errors and delays.
  • Support pallet quality and operational compliance by ensuring pallets are built, stacked, wrapped, and audited in accordance with customer standards.
  • Lead real-time operational support by resolving workflow issues, addressing volume or equipment constraints, and coaching associates on standard work and accuracy.

Carrier, Customer & Issue Resolution

  • Coordinate driver activity by directing drivers, confirming arrival and departure status, and minimizing delays at the dock or yard.
  • Resolve operational exceptions in real time, including missed appointments, no-shows, damaged or short freight, misroutes, equipment issues, and late arrivals.
  • Prepare and validate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, transport labels, appointment records, and shipment of handoff information.

Safety, Communication & Continuous Improvement

  • Support a safe and continuously improving operational environment by reinforcing yard and dock safety practices and identifying recurring process improvement opportunities.

What we would like you to bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably within outsourced or managedservice environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing operations through thirdparty providers (3PL/4PL).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, operational controls, and service governance.
  • Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Experience in a high-volume Sort Center/Hub.
  • Proficiency in French and English (English-speaking clients)
