Ambassador has a great opportunity for Shipping Helpers! A well-established client in Tuscaloosa is seeking candidates looking for more than a job!.This is an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a company that loves to promote from within! Position Summary: Pulls orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming and outgoing trailers according to the shipping schedule. Essential Job Functions: Mobility: Physically capable of movement to all Shipping areas. Ability to exert force necessary to move wheeled equipment weighing approximately 100 to 250 lbs. Sensory: Ability to distinguish color coded equipment, containers, label, signs, etc. Communication Speech and hearing abilities that allow the individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English, and/or another language if required. Ability to generate written communication and operate required office equipment. Ability to read, comprehend, and practice necessary safety procedures, signs, etc. Desired Experience: Six (6) or more months shipping or related experience. Education: High School Diploma or GED.
