Job description

A Medical Device company is seeking a dependable, positive, and eager-to-learn individual to join our team in a temporary or temporary to hire Shipping & Operations Assistant role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys staying busy, learning new skills, and supporting a collaborative team.

No prior shipping experience is required—we are looking for someone with a great attitude, reliability, and a willingness to grow.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Open and organize incoming shipments and materials
  • Answer incoming phone calls and take messages for the department
  • Assist with inventory-related tasks as needed
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the team
  • Maintain an organized and professional work area
  • Learn new processes and assist wherever needed

 

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
  • Excellent work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
