We own an extensive network of pipeline transportation, terminalling, storage and gathering assets in key oil producing basins and transportation corridors and at major market hubs in the United States and Canada. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Operational Accounting/Volume Management

  • Manage shipper interest, shipper volume allocations in coordination with pipeline schedulers, shippers, operators, producers and pipeline companies

  • Manage retroactive adjustments to prior nominations and/or tickets

  • Assist in gathering and analyzing measurement data collected to process system inventory, loss/gains and trends

  • Revenue Management

  • Generate and distribute shipper statements and invoices

  • Initiate business close for pipeline systems

  • Verify oracle entries generated by the pipeline computer system via invoicing, and supplemental schedules

  • Reconcile outstanding shipper accounts receivable balances and follow-up for collection

  • Analyze revenue and volume actual data vs. guidance

  • Customer Management

  • Pro-actively investigate and resolve ticket, volume and revenue problems during the month before close

  • Interact with customers to resolve issues and concerns

  • Develop and maintain good working relations with other departments, pipeline schedulers, shippers, operators, producers and pipeline companies

  • Financial Reporting Management

  • Develop and/or update financial, governmental, and quarterly/annual statistical reports to meet the business requirements

  • Generate supporting files for FERC reporting quarterly and annually

  • Develop and/or update monthly reporting schedules for financial reporting (10K-Q) and internal use (monthly meeting materials)

  • Special Projects

  • Working with various departments, as needed, to execute special projects

  • Monitoring action items and project deliverables in conjunction with stated deadlines

  • Technical accounting interpretation and documentation as needed

  • Assistance in accounting standard implementation projects

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines

  • Must be a team player and responsible individual who takes initiative/ownership in all areas of work

  • Ability to work extended work hours as needed

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel required


​EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance or Accounting required

  • · Experience in pipeline or energy industry preferred

  • · Knowledge of computer systems and programs such as Oracle, Adobe, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Visio, and VMACS pipeline computer system experience is a plus

  • · Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks

  • · Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.
