3M is seeking SHIPPING & RECEIVER I candidates for 3M Indianapolis, Indiana.

  • Full- time 2nd Shift - 2:00pm - 10:30pm

The person hired for the position of SHIPPING & RECEIVER I will work at our 3M Indianapolis, Indiana plant site.

As a(n) SHIPPING & RECEIVER I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Operate powered industrial vehicles such as fork trucks
  • Move material using pallet jacks
  • Receive incoming goods
  • Ship outgoing product

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • Minimum three (3) months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to pass company provided Forklift Training and retain issued forklift license.

Required: (Basic Qualifications):

  • Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • 6 months to 1 year of operating material handling equipment, including sit down forklifts.

Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process. (MESP ASSESSMENT)
