Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate a variety of metal fabrication equipment used to cut, shape, bend, and form metal materials according to production specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work in a safe manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Operate fabrication equipment including cutoff saws, shears, press brakes, rolls, presses, punch presses, forming machines, and spinning machines.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and job specifications to determine machine setup and material requirements.
• Set machine stops, guides, and tooling according to measurements and production specifications.
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Load, position, and secure materials for processing.
• Perform routine machine adjustments and notify supervisors of equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
