Schedule: Full-time, 3rd Shift 9 p.m.-5:30 a.m. Sunday night-Friday Morning.
Pay: $20
Requirements of position

Job Description:
This position is responsible for operating shear equipment to cut metal materials to required sizes and specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate shear machine to cut metal according to production orders
  • Read work orders, quality requirements, and measurements accurately
  • Inspect materials and finished cuts for quality
  • Adjust machine settings as needed for proper cuts
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist with material handling as needed
  • Previous shear operator or metal fabrication experience a plus, but not required
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus

Requirements:

  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Ability to lift up to a minimum 60 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
