MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive);
- Weigh boxes for piece count
- Cutting steel samples (inside)
- Re-band unused steel
- Data collection
- Cutting table inspection
- Operate overhead crane
- Find cutting info and locate steel
- Set up and operate saw or shear
- Tag billets and containers. Store boxes of billets
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 1 year of heavy manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and correctly.
• Previous experience in operating a Forklift
• Aptitude and ability to set up, operate, and make adjustments to shear.
