MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive);

  • Weigh boxes for piece count
  • Cutting steel samples (inside)
  • Re-band unused steel
  • Data collection
  • Cutting table inspection
  • Operate overhead crane
  • Find cutting info and locate steel
  • Set up and operate saw or shear
  • Tag billets and containers. Store boxes of billets


Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year of heavy manufacturing experience

• Ability to read and write.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and correctly.

• Previous experience in operating a Forklift

• Aptitude and ability to set up, operate, and make adjustments to shear.
