Press Brake Operator

Now Hiring – Experienced Press Brake Operator

We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our growing sheet metal fabrication team. This position requires someone who can independently set up and operate CNC press brakes while producing high-quality parts from blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Select proper tooling and make machine adjustments.
  • Verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, protractors, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
  • Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of press brake experience.
  • Experience with Amada, Cincinnati, Bystronic, Trumpf, or similar CNC press brakes preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand bend sequences.
  • Strong math and measuring skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
