Position Overview:
This position opening is at Shawnee Health's location in Marion, Illinois. Shawnee Health practices an integrated primary & behavioral health model and offers comprehensive family medicine to patients of all ages. Services include:
  • Family medical care for all ages
  • Pregnancy testing/family planning/birth control
  • Preventive health services - including immunizations, well-child checks, school, sports and work exams

Requirements:
  • Highly interested in providing family oriented primary care to patients from infant to older age
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy/maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records

Education & Training:
  • State of Illinois Physician & Surgeon License (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)

Standard Benefits for Physicians, Dentists, and Midlevel Practitioners
  • Shawnee Health offers 280 hours for full time practitioners for each full fiscal year of employment for vacations, holidays, sick leave, continuing education or other absences from the practice. At the end of any employment year, a portion of unused Leave days may be carried forward to the next year or you may opt to take the cash value of the unused Leave days.
  • Productivity Incentives: Shawnee offers select physicians, dentists, and midlevel practitioners' merit and productivity incentives based negotiated contractual terms related to net collections and/or total encounters.
  • Merit Bonus: Shawnee offers select physicians, dentists, and midlevel practitioners' productivity incentives based on negotiated criteria.
  • Continuing Education (CE) Allocation: physicians, dentists, and midlevel practitioners receive an annual CE allocation.

Base Compensation:
Pay Range: $195,000-$225,000
