Job description

Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, effective and compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The RN is also responsible for pre-procedure, intra procedure, and post procedure assessments.

Education & Experience:

  • Graduation certificate from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program, required
  • Current MS state licensure, required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), required
  • Completion of Moderate Sedation course, required
  • Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of nursing experience, with prior experience in endoscopy, perioperative, critical care, or procedural areas, preferred
  • Proficient at patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, IV insertions, and administering Moderate Sedation

Qualifications:

  • Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
  • Dependable, punctual, and highly detail-oriented
  • Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
