Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced SharePoint Designer for a 6-month contract opportunity with a respected higher education institution in the Atlanta area. This position will play a key role in enhancing and modernizing the organization's internal SharePoint portal through the creation of new pages, modernization of existing content, and improvement of the overall user experience.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deploy new SharePoint intranet pages to support organizational needs.
  • Modernize and restructure existing legacy SharePoint pages into clean, intuitive, and user-friendly experiences.
  • Improve site navigation and information architecture to make content easier to access and manage.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure all content and layouts align with established branding and communication standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing SharePoint functionality.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and managing Microsoft SharePoint environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Modern Experience, page creation, and navigation structures.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and web parts.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and Microsoft 365 integrations, including forms, lists, and document libraries.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • A keen eye for user experience, digital design, and information organization.
