The Role
Within the Business Development Representative (BDR) role, we support outbound sales teams by assisting them through strategic prospecting efforts and extensive account research. BDRs consistently make a tangible impact in the Sales Development Organization by generating millions of dollars of new business pipelines each year.
What You'll Do
  • Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities
  • Nurture early-stage opportunities
  • Gain interest through outbound cold calling across a set of existing BT customers and breaking into net new logos in assigned territory
  • Partner with Account Executives to identify and source net new pipeline and assist by researching lines of business and personas
  • Identify key decision makers within new accounts
  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing customers through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in BT
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities
  • Enter prospect information into Salesforce.
  • Enhance product knowledge through regularly attending training sessions.
  • Support marketing campaigns and promotional offers to help optimize revenue.

What You'll Bring
  • 1-2 years experience in business development, sales or related field experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment. You think out-of-the-box and wow people with your interesting angles and quality work
  • Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of accounts that are a hybrid of net-new and existing install
  • Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Personality to establish and maintain strong relationships with sales teams you support and become a valued partner to them.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and maximize efficiency.
