Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Entra External ID / Azure AD B2C Lead to design, develop, implement, and support secure, scalable customer identity and access management solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra External ID, Azure AD B2C, Microsoft Entra ID, Custom Policies, Identity Experience Framework (IEF), authentication protocols, SSO, MFA, API integrations, and Azure services. The candidate should be comfortable working across identity, cloud, application, security, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement customer-facing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Microsoft Entra External ID / Azure AD B2C and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Develop and customize Azure AD B2C Custom Policies, Identity Experience Framework (IEF), and User Flows.
  • Configure authentication and federation using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML 2.0.
  • Implement secure SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity federation solutions.
  • Integrate external identity providers such as Google, Facebook, Apple, and enterprise SAML/OIDC providers.
  • Work with JWT tokens, claims, authentication flows, and token validation.
  • Develop and integrate REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure-based backend services.
  • Use Azure Functions and C#/.NET for custom authentication logic and backend integrations.
  • Secure application secrets, certificates, and credentials using Azure Key Vault.
  • Configure and support applications hosted on Azure App Service and APIs managed through Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Manage Application Registrations and Enterprise Applications within Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Implement CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and deployment pipelines.
  • Automate Azure infrastructure and identity configurations using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, federation, token, API integration, and SSO-related issues.
  • Collaborate with application, security, cloud, and development teams to deliver scalable and secure identity solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra External ID / Azure AD B2C.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and IAM concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AD B2C Custom Policies and Identity Experience Framework (IEF).
  • Experience with B2C User Flows and custom authentication journeys.
  • Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, and JWT.
  • Experience implementing SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity federation.
  • Experience integrating custom and social identity providers.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure App Service, and Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with C#/.NET for authentication logic and backend integrations.
  • Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep for Azure infrastructure automation.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience designing customer identity / CIAM solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Experience migrating or modernizing legacy Azure AD B2C identity solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across authentication, authorization, APIs, and federation.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
