Position: Intune Engineer
Location: On-site in Atlanta, GA / Cincinnati, OH
Employment Type: Contract
 
Key Skills:
  • Need experience in supporting SCCM / Intune (WinOS, MacOS, ChromeOS) and VDI platforms (Citrix, AWS, Azure Virtual Desktop).
Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex technical engineering tasks remotely or at customer site to meet business and contractual requirements
  • Lead design and implementation of enterprise endpoint management solutions for Windows and macOS platforms
  • Manage and deliver OS deployment solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (OSD, task sequences, imaging, packaging)
  • Implement and support modern provisioning using Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, co-management, and compliance policies)
  • Manage macOS device lifecycle using JAMF Pro
  • Coordinate small technical teams and ensure delivery of work packages aligned with company processes
  • Design and maintain Co-Management and Cloud Management Gateway (CMG) architectures
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, deployment standards, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with internal and customer procedures through reporting and analysis of completed work
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and support teams
  • Follow escalation procedures for internal operations, vendors, and customers
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and produce detailed technical reports after incident resolution
  • Support application deployment, packaging, and configuration management across enterprise endpoints
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as required.
Experience & Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise endpoint engineering and large-scale environment support
Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (OSD, imaging, packaging, task sequences)
  • Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, MDM, co-management)
  • JAMF Pro (macOS management)
  • Experience with WSUS, MDT, and patch management processes
  • Strong understanding of operating system concepts, including Microsoft Active Directory, security, and OS internals
  • Experience with SCCM Co-Management and Cloud Management Gateway (CMG)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to write and troubleshoot queries for reporting and SCCM backend
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
  • Experience in mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM)
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell (preferred; Python also acceptable)
  • Experience performing root cause analysis (RCA), incident troubleshooting, and detailed reporting
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of the ITIL framework and service management processes.
