Job description

LMI is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support the redesign, development, and modernization of Digital Process Solutions for an Air Force customer, full time on base in Beavercreek Ohio.

A successful Power Platform Developer will be experienced with using SharePoint and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps,  Power Automate) software for automation, documentation, and reporting.  The Power Platform Developer will be able to leverage the Agile Way of Working to engage stakeholders and meet customers’ needs. A successful Power Platform Developer will be detail oriented, possess the management skills to hold people accountable to quality expectations and timelines, and respond quickly to evolving client needs. A background in digital transformation, development, and/or User Experience/Human Centered Design is highly desired.

Solution Design:

  • Analyze business requirements to identify SharePoint-based solutions
  • Design and develop SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows, web parts, and applications to modernize legacy solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their needs

Development:

  • Develop SharePoint solutions using SharePoint development frameworks (e.g., Power Platform)

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Test and debug SharePoint solutions to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Perform unit, integration, and system testing
  • Provide technical support for SharePoint applications

Maintenance and Support:

  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for SharePoint solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint applications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint technologies and best practices

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for SharePoint solutions

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience developing SharePoint solutions
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, development frameworks, and best practices
  • Experience with SharePoint workflows, web parts, and custom applications
  • Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform tools, including:
    • Power BI
    • Power Apps
    • Power Pages
    • Power Automate
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within the government contracting industry

Target salary range: $105,000.00 - $125,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
