Job description

SharePoint / Power Platform Developer
Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking a SharePoint/Power Platform Developers to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a Full-time (Regular) Exempt (Salary) position supporting customers located in Patuxent River, Maryland 20670. This is a fully remote position, with candidates ideally located on the East Coast of the United States.

We are looking for qualified candidates who are ready to collaborate, innovate, and make an impact in a fast-paced, forward-looking environment where teamwork is at the heart of our success.
ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform the full range of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, including analysis, design, development, test, deployment, and support within an Agile project environment for custom SharePoint-based web applications.
  • Research, provide consultation, and design SharePoint solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Design, develop, and test state of the art solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Create, deploy, maintain, test, and support Power Automate flows.
  • Create, deploy, test, and maintain custom SharePoint pages using the standard SharePoint User Interface.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and fix SharePoint site issues.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and user documentation related to SharePoint and SharePoint Online (SPO) sites.
  • Assist in SharePoint site administration.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Associates degree and 3 years related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above -OR- HS/GED and 5 years related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above.
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar is preferred.
  • College degrees must be obtained from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
  • Experience developing, testing, troubleshooting, and/or providing support for MS Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps and/or Power BI) applications.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining SharePoint lists and libraries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • US Citizenship is required due to US government contract requirement.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
  • Experience with Power Automate Desktop.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
  • Experience with React JS application development to include the use of the REST and/or Graph API within the SPFx.
  • Active SECRET clearance.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The compensation range is based on industry compensation data and/or position budget and reflects our commitment to transparency and fairness:
  • The annual base compensation range is $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with education, certifications, and experience.
  • Other compensation may include discretionary bonuses, referral rewards, and spot awards.
