Job Title: Internet-Web Engineer / Share Point Admin
Scope Variant: Advance | Min 10 hrs per month.

Location - Remote | Onsite preferred | State of Florida |The Contractor shall be required to have resource(s) work on site at 2555 Shumard Oak Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-2100. when remote resolution is not possible.

Contract Duration - October 15, 2025 and be effective through October 14, 2026 with three (3) one-year renewal options
Scope of Work
The vendor will be expected to provide mostly off-site staff augmentation to the Division. The vendor resource will provide maintenance and support of the existing SharePoint infrastructure, ensuring security and availability. This position will work closely with other IT groups to ensure the integration of the SharePoint infrastructure. This position will be responsible for system tuning, optimization of information/data processing, maintenance and support of SharePoint environment, including monthly patching and patching process documentation, system monitoring, and server maintenance. This position is also responsible for providing emergency support and troubleshooting to ensure continuity of operations.
The SharePoint engineer provides maintenance and support of the existing SharePoint infrastructure, ensuring security and availability. This position will work closely with other IT groups to ensure the integration of the SharePoint infrastructure. This position will be responsible for system tuning, optimization of information/data processing, maintenance and support of SharePoint environment, including monthly patching and patching documentation, system monitoring, and server maintenance. This position is also responsible for providing emergency support and troubleshooting to ensure continuity of operations.
It is envisioned this resource shall be available at a minimum of 10 hours per month, providing infrastructure-level engineering of SharePoint environment.
List of Contractor Responsibilities
Deliverables will consist of, at a minimum:

  • Monthly security updates/patches to the entire production and development farms, to take place on the last weekend of each month
  • Documentation of all aspects of the server farm, to include all scheduled tasks, and scripted actions/tasks
  • SharePoint server farm patching job aid with documentation of patching process
  • Scheduled time with Division Server staff to provide training on how to perform maintenance/updates/patches, adhering to Microsoft best practices
  • Yearly security reviews, risk assessments, and updates to System Security Plan as necessary to ensure compliance with statutory regulations
  • Provide support to the Server Team on the transition of the SharePoint server farm to the Division's new State EOC infrastructure.
Further deliverables will consist of the requisite hours being constructively committed as assigned by management and will be determined as part of each assignment. These may include, but will not be limited to, demonstrations of completed functionality, progress reports, production of documentation or end-user manuals, and training presentations.
Additional expectations will consist of, at a minimum:
  • On call availability for urgent matters, including business hours, after hours, holidays, and vacation days
  • Timely communication with Division staff, with acknowledgement of received communication
  • Within 1 hour for urgent communication - to include estimated time to resolution, if available
  • Within 3 hours for non-urgent communication - to include high level plan of resolution, when applicable.
  • In addition to timesheets maintained in the Division SharePoint site, complete a weekly task summary to provide to FEMA for funding documentation

Qualifications / Certifications of the Consultant
The Vendor must demonstrate the resource(s) capability to provide professional consulting services in the following areas:
  1. 2620 - Internet/Web Engineer - Advanced
  • Demonstrated experience tuning, optimizing, maintaining, and supporting an on-premises SharePoint Subscription Edition farm environment adhering to Microsoft best practices is required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with tenant documentation and diagramming required
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining Nintex forms and workflows configurations in SharePoint Subscription Edition is preferable
Experience with SharePoint development is preferable, with focus on maintaining existing customizations and functionality
