Job Description

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Project Manager and provide project management support and assistance to the Chief Technology Office organization of the facility's Chief Information Office. This project manager will, along with key managerial stakeholders, architects, project managers, subject matter experts, and compliance staff, facilitate the efforts in the development and execution of organization priorities. The organization is responsible for developing, planning, road mapping, and governance of strategies for all technology and technology components at the facility in concert with the facility's overall strategy and federal mandates. This assignment will support the implementation and organizational change management for organization services including Strategy & Architecture, Program Planning & Delivery, Process Management, Policy & Standards, and Service Delivery Maturity reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Portland, Oregon with onsite 2 days per week.

The hourly pay rate for this position is between $67.00 and $78.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
  • 10 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.
  • 14 years of direct work experience is required without a degree or a non-applicable degree.
  • Experience should include direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution for medium to large sized projects.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with business services capabilities projects using industry standard methods and tools for managing schedules, dependencies, resources, funding, and developing technical specifications and project plans.
  • Experience successfully coordinating or running multiple projects simultaneously as a program.
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and SharePoint Server environments.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in demand/resource planning and Strategy.
  • Project and program management experience within an Information Technology or Operational Technology environment
