Baer is looking for SAP HCM Payroll Architect for a 6 month Federal Project located in Knoxville Area, TN.
Title:
SAP HCM Payroll Architect
Location: Hybrid - Knoxville Area, TN
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Position Overview
Lead the SAP SuccessFactors current-state assessment and HR Core/Payroll functional discovery for the S/4HANA transformation. Assess SuccessFactors capabilities, HR master data, integrations, and shadow systems to define the future-state HR architecture, integration strategy, and transformation roadmap.
Description:
  • Lead the SuccessFactors current-state assessment, including Employee Central, Onboarding/Offboarding, and Learning.
  • Assess integration points between SAP SuccessFactors and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
  • Evaluate HR master data, including employee, organizational, and position data.
  • Lead HR Core and Payroll discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Assess HR-related shadow systems, including Pension, SMAN, LMS, and employee clearance tracking.
  • Identify functional gaps, integration dependencies, data challenges, and opportunities for simplification.
  • Develop the SuccessFactors-to-S/4 Integration Strategy.
  • Define SuccessFactors Roadmap Alignment with the broader S/4HANA transformation.
  • Provide recommendations for future-state HR processes, integrations, and solution architecture.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, SAP functional teams, and program leadership.

Requirements:
  • Expert-level experience in SAP HCM, Payroll, and SuccessFactors.
  • Strong experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and HR integrations.
  • Experience with SAP ECC HCM and/or S/4HANA HR integration.
  • Strong understanding of HR master data, organizational structures, positions, and payroll processes.
  • Experience leading current-state assessments, discovery workshops, and future-state architecture.
  • Experience evaluating HR shadow systems and integration dependencies.
  • Strong solution architecture, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
