Description:

BuildCore is hiring a Regional Traveling Superintendent to lead SFR and MFR renovation projects across various markets. This is a travel-based role, requiring consistent field presence to ensure that BuildCore projects are delivered efficiently, safely, on budget, and in alignment with our quality standards. This role is built for a high-performing construction professional who values variety, autonomy, and accountabilityโ€”spending time on the road visiting projects, in the field solving problems, completing estimates, and using technology to drive execution.

Weโ€™re building BuildCore with a long-term vision of becoming employee owned, and weโ€™re looking for leaders who think and act like ownersโ€”people who take responsibility for outcomes, protect margin, and push projects forward without being asked.

Requirements:

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Oversee active SFR and MFR renovation projects across multiple markets
  • Travel frequently (day trips and overnight) to support high-volume or underperforming projects
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and scope reviews
  • Complete field estimates and support pricing validation
  • Manage schedules, subcontractors, inspections, and closeouts
  • Drive quality, safety, and code compliance
  • Control costs and protect profitability
  • Use Monday.com and BuildCoreโ€™s proprietary tech stack for real-time reporting
  • Support training and onboarding of field teams and vendors
  • Represent BuildCore professionally with clients and partners

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience managing residential renovation or capital improvement projects
  • Hands-on experience with both SFR and MFR renovations
  • Strong field leadership and subcontractor management skills
  • Comfortable with extensive travel and dynamic workloads
  • Solid understanding of residential scopes (flooring, paint, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
  • Tech-forward and comfortable with mobile reporting tools
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable
  • Ownership mindsetโ€”treats every project like itโ€™s their own

Preferred (Not Required):

  • OSHA 30
  • PMP or similar certification

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $90,000 โ€“ $100,000 base salary (DOE)
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Tax-free vehicle allowance ($800/month)
  • Insurance allowance ($350/month)
  • Fuel, insurance, and approved vehicle expenses covered
  • Travel per diem + reimbursed expenses
  • $50/month phone allowance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off
  • Bi-weekly pay
  • Clear growth path with leadership opportunity as BuildCore scales

Why BuildCore:

  • High-trust, high-accountability culture
  • Strong field support and modern technology
  • Opportunity to grow with a company building toward employee ownership
  • Work that matters, with visibility and real impact
