Position Summary

The Set-Up Crew member is responsible for preparing the Parkstage venue for events by arranging equipment, furniture, and event spaces according to operational and client specifications. This role is essential to ensuring events are set up efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00

This position will remain open until July 31, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, chairs, bars, tents, and equipment.
  • Follow event diagrams, layouts, and supervisor instructions accurately.
  • Load, unload, and transport equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue before, during, and after events.
  • Assist with resetting spaces quickly between events.
  • Ensure all setups meet safety and operational standards.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Support other departments as needed during events.
Qualifications
  • Previous event setup or general labor experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects often throughout the workday.
  • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to follow directions and work efficiently under time constraints.
