Job description

Job Overview:
A banquet set up crew member is responsible for setting up banquet tables and chairs for events, arranging table settings and linens, displaying centerpieces and decorations, assisting with the placement of audiovisual equipment, cleaning and maintaining event spaces, restocking supplies as needed, and providing exceptional customer service to guests
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up& breakdown event
  • Return all items from site to Banquet Dept
  • Perform food preparation
  • Customer service
  • Sanitation
  • Other food service duties
  • Be able to lift at least 60 pounds
  • Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
  • Banquet Server Etiquette Training a plus

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous banquet or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, move tables and chairs, lift at least 50lbs, and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is a plus.
