Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused and driven individual to join our Event Operations team as an Events Server. Events Servers uphold and execute one of the most critical components in Farmington Country Clubs mission statement - that is, to professionally engage with our members and guests, and to provide them with the highest quality of service. The starting wage for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare items for special event service in a proper and timely manner including, but not limited to, polishing service items, folding napkins, and setting tables;
  • Set up buffets according to specifications of the banquet event order;
  • Check Banquet Event Orders and tables for proper set-up;
  • Greet members by name when seated at tables;
  • Continuous floor presence during events;
  • Deliver correct beverages and food to respective individuals and tables;
  • Maintain table and floor cleanliness throughout event;
  • Submit daily items requisitions to the Events Operations Manager;
  • Properly manage, organize, and store meeting room supplies (e.g., linens, writing pads, pens, candy, etc.);
  • Participate in inventory counts;
  • Follow Club and Events Department safety procedures at all times;
  • Report departmental needs (e.g., service items, equipment, etc.) and repairs to Events Operations Manager

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Good organizational skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize assignments to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days and weekends
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds
