Job description

Our Events Servers are responsible for overseeing all service aspects of banquet functions and weddings while reporting directly to our Events Manager and Grille Manager.

Our ideal candidate is efficient, well-timed, flexible and maintains an overall understanding of banquet event functions and activities taking place. This position will interact with other club staff, members, and guests and will need to work with a variety of personalities on a daily and ongoing basis. ***Candidate must have the ability to work varying shifts based on banquet and club needs including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and some holidays.***

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up for events according to event form specifications
  • Will be following steps of service for place settings, carry tray with entrees, table service, beverage pours and proper clearing of the tables
  • Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
  • Must be willing to pitch in with other departments based on business needs
  • While performing the essential functions of this job, this position requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, or climbing stairs
  • Requires doing repetitive hand and wrist movements

Requirements

  • Adhere to grooming, appearance, and uniform standards
  • One year of recent serving experience, hotel or banquet environment preferred
  • Must continuously demonstrate a positive, upbeat, and customer-focused attitude
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and other high volume days and times
  • Must be at least 17 years of age

Job Type: Part-time

Pay : $16.00 - $22.00, depending on Experience

  • High school degree or higher-level education and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of Banquet/Wedding experience preferred
  • Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills
