Job description

Position Summary: Responsible as technical resource for outside salespeople, customers, and factories trouble shooting problems in the office and field technical assistance as required. Works under general supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepares controls layouts and specifications
  • Prepares submittals as needed
  • Perform material takeoffs
  • Provides problem investigation and analysis in the office or field, as required
  • Provides pre-site visits before work is scheduled as required
  • Develop specific goals and plans to organize, prioritize, and accomplish work
  • Maintain knowledge of currently represented products
  • Maintain project files
  • Maintain and update AutoCad Blocks and Bluebeam symbols for all represented factories
  • Review and close out projects as required
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Essential Skills:

    • Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Intermediate level of AutoCad required
    • Ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly
    • Must have project planning and scheduling skills
    • Must be available to travel
    • Must be proficient on Word, Excel, Outlook and Bluebeam
