Job description

The Opportunity: Responsible for project quotations as requested by customers in a timely and efficient manner. All project quotations to be finalized at least 24 hours prior to bidding.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people as directed
  • Evaluates project requirements, architectural drawings, and lighting fixture schedules to identify lighting bill of material suitable to achieve the desired outcome of the project
  • Provide project quotations that are efficient and competitive to local market conditions
  • Provide quotations on both miscellaneous and project quotes as requested by customers
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
  • Attend product and training sessions when available
  • Exercise independent judgement
  • Provide quotation breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Learns and understands SESCO Lightingโ€™s full product offer and its functionality
  • Bring ideas and share with the team, to promote overall company growth
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Essential Skills:

  • Must possess 2 โ€“ 4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting and project quotations
  • Possess general knowledge of lighting products as well as lighting controls and IOT enabled devices
  • Ability to read and understand building and control drawings
  • Experience in submittal creation and review
  • Must have excellent math skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, internet research, and Outlook
