Position Title: Service Parts Specialist
Department: Field Service
Reports to: Field Service Administrative Supervisor
EAM-Mosca Corp., Hazle Township PA, a dynamic market leader in the area of end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking an experienced Service Parts Specialist to support our service techs in the field by maintaining Service inventory and fulfilling our parts orders.
EAM-Mosca is privately held and retains a unique, focused, entrepreneurial culture. EAM-Mosca also enjoys a blue-chip client base of highly successful North and South American manufacturing companies and has a portfolio of products applicable to a variety of end-use markets. The key to the ongoing success of the business is a system-based product portfolio featuring standard as well as custom engineered packaging machinery solutions and a superior consumable packaging product, complimented by quality technical service and readily available aftersales parts support.
Job Summary: The Service Parts Specialist manages Service parts inventory and ensures timely availability for technicians by handling orders, backorders, and returns. Maintains tools and van stock, supports new hires with parts setup, and conducts regular inventory audits while sourcing parts across locations as needed.
Job Duties
  • Maintaining proper parts inventory in all Service vans and One Service B kits by reconciling service consumption, replenishment, and backorders based on established Hi/ Low levels.
  • Fulfilling parts orders on demand as the technician places parts orders for continued service repairs, warranty, and emergency work.
  • Creating AS400 parts quotes at the request of Service technicians and/or Managers.
  • Creating Return Authorization for any warranty-related parts orders, auditing inventorying, finalizing any RA documentation, and regularly identifying any outstanding RA
  • Keeping track of all-Service related backorders.
  • Maintain our internal service inventory of uniforms, tools, and electronic specialty tools; Create High/Low limits; Place orders for new hires and service techs;
  • Maintain and keep new van part kits ready for new hires as we grow and add new territories.
  • Annual Audit of all Service Part Locations: Work with techs and accounting to audit all Service Parts locations physically.
  • Research Parts availability in multiple EAM locations, including Canada and Mexico, making any necessary arrangements to acquire these parts in the provided systems
ย Profile and Background
  • 2- 5 years of experience in field service organization
  • Associateโ€™s degree or equivalent in lieu of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to organize and compartmentalize urgent tasks from routine tasks and ensure urgent work is driven to completion. Ensuring the parts were shipped. ย 
  • Ability to work with multiple divisions within the organization and third-party shippers to complete an order process.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Experience working with ERP systems like AS400, SAP
  • Knowledge of Service Management organizations and parts systems.
  • Understanding of basic principles of Supply chain management
  • Superb time management and detail orientation
  • Ability to keep company information confidential
  • Experience using Microsoft 360 Suite, Teams and SharePoint
