What You Will Do:

  • Help translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.
  • Lead the development of ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other ServiceNow developers.
  • Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
  • Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform unit, system, and integration testing.
  • Debug and fix technical problems.
  • Support the development of detailed technical and functional documentation.
  • Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
  • Participate in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.


What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
  • US Citizenship is contractually required for this role.
  • Minimum of THREE (3) years of professional experience.
  • Ability to commute to client or corporate offices depending on the need up to 3 times per week.
  • A bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
  • Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST, preferred.
  • Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.
  • Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
  • Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Information Technology or Business.
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD)
  • Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST preferred.
  • Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
  • General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.
  • Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
