Job description

COMPANY:Paramount Elevator

TITLE: Dispatcher/Customer Service Rep

LOCATION: Onsite 333 Market St, Oakland, CA 94607

STATUS: Part-time, Non-Exempt

SCHEDULE: M – F 11:30 am – 4:30 pm

PAY RATE: $30-35 per hour DOE

Paramount Elevator is looking for a Customer Service Rep extraordinaire. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, who is well organized, diligently follows-up, has an eye for detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with prior experience in Accounts Receivable is a plus.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming phone calls. Dispatch calls to appropriate personnel in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage, maintain, and ensure main office email is reviewed and dispersed to appropriate team member(s) for review.
  • Support the Service Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Log trouble calls, after hour calls, and missing service activities into database.
  • Serves as back-up to assist with weekly payroll to verify timesheet versus system accuracy.
  • Maintain and update route lists internally and with call center.
  • Maintain an accurate customer database.
  • Prepare Service Contracts and Trouble Calls as directed by Service Manager.
  • Coordinate with F/T Dispatch/Customer Service Rep to manage all aspects of the service contract process for new and existing customers. Enter, maintain and send, and follow up on return of new contracts. Also review, notify and complete cancelations as needed.
  • Work directly with Operations Manager to maintain accurate technician routes in the system.
  • Maintain filing system.
  • Accept and verify office deliveries.
  • Additional projects as assigned.


Requirements
  • 4 years of experience in an office environment answering and/or dispatching calls.
  • 4 years of experience in administrative work, including heavy customer correspondence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable.
  • Professional with the ability to work in a close-knit office environment.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Takes pride in work with an attention to detail and reviews work for accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Superior customer service.
  • Exemplary follow-up skills.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication.
  • Able to work well under pressure and adapt to change.
