Position: HVAC Service Apprentice

Compensation: $20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekends and evenings required.

Position Summary:

The HVAC Apprentice will be performing maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Training provided for career growth including riding along & working with an experienced HVAC service technician and getting hands on training in technical skills, customer service, consulting with customers about repairs & service needs and closing those sales /service calls.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Desire to learn and willingness to commit to learning a trade
  • Mechanical experience or aptitude
  • Ability to work hours which may include evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in extreme conditions such as cold, wet, hot, confined space, and working in and around raw sewage.
  • Able to work in small to confined spaces - under houses, in attics etc.
  • Climb ladders, up to 20 feet in height.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

  • Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
