We are currently seeking a Service Quality Manager to support our KLX Energy Services, Brideport West Viriginia location.
PURPOSE:
The Service Quality Manager for Rentals is responsible for developing, implementing, training, and continuously improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service assurance practices, and quality control programs across the Rentals and Business Operations (BOPs) product lines. This role ensures field operations, maintenance processes, and rental asset management comply with internal standards and external requirements, including API frameworks. The position drives safe, consistent, and efficient performance that supports operational reliability and enhances customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable API standards-including API Q1, API 16A, API 16AR, API 6A, API 16D, API 5CT, API 7-1, and other relevant specifications-across all rental equipment, maintenance activities, and service delivery workflows. Maintain alignment with relevant ISO management system standards, ensuring proper documentation, traceability, and operational conformity.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs for Rentals and BOPs operations, maintenance, and asset control.
  • Conduct audits of bases, equipment, and documentation to ensure conformance to internal and industry standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for field personnel, technicians, and rental operations teams.
  • Support Operations, Base Managers, and Product Line leadership in identifying deficiencies and implementing improvements.
  • Monitor KPIs such as asset reliability, NPT trends, service failures, and customer complaints.
  • Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and quality reports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
Work Experience: 8-10 years
Supervisory Experience: 1-3 years
Related Experience: Implementing API standards and/or ISO quality systems. A strong background in equipment inspection, maintenance or quality assurance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Degree Field (s): *Engineering, Quality or related field
Work Experience: 8-10 years
Supervisory Experience: 1-3
Related Experience: Prior QHSE, Quality Manager or Service Quality role in the energy sector.
