Job Summary

The Server Assistant at Chophouse 13 Nocatee supports the service team by providing an exceptional
dining experience. The Server Assistant is responsible for ensuring that tables are continuously maintained, guests’ needs are met promptly, and
the dining area operates smoothly. As a key member to the front of the house team, the Server
Assistant works closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to enhance efficiency and uphold the
standards of fine dining service.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Table Maintenance:
    Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently between courses and after guests leave, ensuring
    readiness for the next seating.
    Replace silverware, glassware, and other table items as needed.
    Assist servers with greeting guests, refilling water, replenishing beverages, and crumbing
    tables when appropriate.
    Keep the dining area neat and organized, ensuring table settings are always elegant and
    spotless.
  2.  Guest Assistance:
    Provide attentive and unobtrusive service to guests by anticipating their needs, such as
    refilling drinks, clearing dishes, or providing extra napkins.
    Respond to guest requests promptly, communicating their needs to the appropriate
    server or manager when necessary.
    Assist in accommodating special requests or dietary needs in coordination with the
    server and kitchen staff.
  3.  Supporting Servers and Teamwork:
    Collaborate with servers to ensure the smooth flow of service, helping to deliver drinks,
    clear courses, crumb tables, assist with large parties, or restock server stations.
    Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to deliver items in a timely manner, ensuring
    no delays in service.
    Assist in managing the pace of the dining experience to ensure courses are served
    promptly without rushing the guests.
    Refill water and maintain a clean and welcoming dining atmosphere.
  4. Cleanliness and Organization:
    Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the dining room, including keeping service stations
    stocked and organized.
    Ensure that floor areas are free of spills, debris, or obstruction to maintain safety and

    Assist in polishing glassware, silverware, and other tableware to maintain fine dining
    standards.
  5. Setup and Breakdown:
    Assist with the setup of tables before service, including laying out linens, resetting
    tables, restocking service stations, and cleaning the dining area.
