Server Assistant Job Summary: The Server Assistant at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa is a full time hospitality and restaurant position responsible in assisting in the efficient operational functions of the restaurant, restaurant bar & lounge, and special events. The Server Assistant will provide efficient and legible service to all guests in a professional manner in harmony with the restaurant's service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Set and refresh tables with place settings and linens according to restaurant standards
  • Rack and stack all dishes and utensils in dish area
  • Prepare condiments and beverages as needed
  • Assist wait staff with silverware rolling, replenishing drinks, food delivery, and other tasks as assigned
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the dining area, lounge, and outside areas including sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, and other duties as assigned
  • Assist in stocking service station with necessary items as needed
  • Assist in the preparation and breakdown of any special events
  • Adhere to safety and sanitary procedures
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • 1+ year in related field of restaurant, banquets, and hospitality is preferred
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to handle physical activity including bending, lifting up to 25-30 pounds, and other strenuous activities
  • Must maintain a high level of enthusiasm and dedication to the guest experience
  • Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
