Job description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public spaces, residents units, and grounds
  • Using cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with the department guidelines and assuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, MSDS, OSHA, EPA and other relevant rules and regulations
  • Coordinating annual deep cleaning programs for both residents units and common areas
  • Scheduling the preparation of units for admissions
  • Conducting regular inspection of all areas and maintaining inventory control systems for all supplies, chemicals, and equipment
  • Scheduling and conducting training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel
  • Ability to higher your own staff

We seek the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of supervisory housekeeping/janitorial experience in a healthcare facility
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to successfully schedule and supervise staff
  • Flexibility with schedule
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population
