Serene Butterfly Counseling

We are currently seeking a part-time EMDR therapist (can be in the process of getting their training or agree to register within 30 days of hire). This position would be working hybrid (virtual and in person sessions), with 1 day (5 client hours) in person on Saturdays.

Serene Butterfly Counseling is a growing group practice that provides modern, brain-based therapies to adults, children, and families. We offer EMDR, IFS, DBT, CBT, perinatal therapy, and neurodiversity affirming therapy for adults and children. We treat trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, pre and postpartum challenges, OCD, grief, and more.

Shifts

Hours are flexible with a minimum of 12 clients a week, & must be available 1 weekday evening (until 8pm) and 5 hours on the weekend in person.

Qualifications

  • An optimistic and enthusiastic person who wants to contribute to being part of a supportive team.
  • A Masters degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology or related field.
  • Licensed to see clients in Texas (such as LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMFT-A, LPC/ LPC-A).
  • EMDR training required- Will consider applicants who have not completed, but will/are registered for the training.
  • Must willing to work one day in person for a 5 hour shift and the remaining hours can be telehealth/video.
  • Must work 2 weekday evenings or 1 evening and 5 hours on Saturday/Sunday.
  • Must have Malpractice insurance coverage.
  • Must be LGBTQ+ Affirming

Pay: 55% split for Associates with EMDR training (50% without), 60% Split for a fully licensed EMDR Therapist. Compensation split is up to $105/hour (1099/contractor position) depending on percentage split, insurance and cash pay rate.
