Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We deliver compassionate, evidence-based care focused on helping individuals achieve better function, communication, and quality of life.
Position Summary
We are seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Florida to join our dynamic and growing team. As an SLP at Sequoia Care, you'll assess and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Whether you're looking for consistent hours or a flexible schedule, we offer a range of opportunities to suit your lifestyle and professional goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized speech-language therapy plans
  • Deliver direct treatment in senior living setting
  • Address speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing needs
  • Educate and train residents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Document resident progress and revise treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license in the state of Florida (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Senior living or similar experience preferred
  • Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers
  • CPR certification (as required by facility or state)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
  • Passion for improving residents' quality of life through evidence-based care
