Orthopedic Surgeon | Build a Comprehensive Elective Orthopedic Program
Sentara Obici Hospital | Suffolk, Virginia
Sentara Health, an award-winning, nationally recognized nonprofit integrated healthcare system, is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to help build and grow a comprehensive elective orthopedic program at Sentara Obici Hospital in beautiful Suffolk, Virginia.
This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative, growth-minded surgeon to shape a high-quality orthopedic service line with strong community need, advanced practice support, and the resources of a leading healthcare organization. Orthopedic surgeons of all subspecialty backgrounds are encouraged to apply but fellowship training in adult reconstruction or sports medicine is preferred. Will have support for fracture cases.
Offices are located on the campus of Sentara Obici Hospital, a well-equipped 176-bed community hospital, as well as at Sentara BelleHarbour, an ambulatory surgery center with two operating rooms and an expanded emergency department.
