This is a full-time, benefit eligible position for day shift located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Patient Transporters provide transport of patients, supplies, and lab specimens; and patient care as needed with support of licensed staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in a position using customer service skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare provider
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates have extensive customer service experience and a desire to provide the highest quality of service.
  • Previous hospital experience.
