Job description

Title: Sensory Technician
Location: Arlington, VA
Company: Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturing (FuseGlobal has worked with this company for 20 years)
Initial term: 6 months (position expected to run longer)
Schedule: Monday - Friday

About This Role:

Support sensory lab operations including panel training preparation, test execution, and upkeep of lab materials and equipment.


What You'll Do:

  • Design and execute sensory studies and internal trainings according to plan; set up testing rooms, label cups, prepare and serve samples, clean up
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; document samples, retrieve and stock supplies, perform routine cleaning tasks
  • Analyze and report results of small-scale routine sensory studies; set up and auto-report data collected via sensory software and Excel
  • Interact effectively with sensory team in planning of resources
  • Support sensory team goals and activities

What You Bring:

  • Education: BS Graduate / High School
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Basic math skills: percentages, conversions
  • Desirable: experience in scientific lab or food preparation

Specific Requirements:

  • Available 40 hours per week, particularly 8am-4pm
  • Must be a non-smoker
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
