Work Mode : candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to Hampton Roads, VA.
Position Overview
CSlope Solutions LLC is seeking four Journeyman Web Developers to perform feature development, requirements documentation, and application testing on the NAVSUP Enterprise Web (NEW) program. Working with broad latitude under Senior and SME direction, you will contribute meaningfully to both the technical delivery and the requirements elicitation lifecycle. This is a hands-on development role with strong visibility into Navy enterprise systems modernization.
Key Responsibilities
PWS Reference Responsibility
PWS §5.1 / §5.2 Implement web site features and web application modules per design specifications; participate in sprint delivery and demonstrate working software at sprint reviews.
PWS §5.8 Support requirements elicitation and documentation; participate in stakeholder interviews, translate functional needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
PWS §5.9 Execute manual and automated application testing; document defects, perform regression testing, and validate fixes against acceptance criteria.
Collaboration Work within Agile scrum teams; contribute to daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
Documentation Maintain inline code documentation and contribute to technical documentation deliverables.
Required Qualifications
• 3-6 years of professional web development experience.
• Working proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON data structures, and back-end service consumption.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development workflows.
• Ability to write, execute, and document functional and regression test cases.
• Strong written communication skills; experience contributing to requirements or technical documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or 3+ years additional experience in lieu of degree).
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience on federal or DoD programs.
• Familiarity with Section 508 / WCAG 2.1 accessibility requirements.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Jest).
• ISTQB Certified Tester or comparable QA certification.
