The Position
The Web Developer supports the contract by developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based applications and interfaces used to monitor and report the operational status of Joint Staff Command and Control (C2) systems. The position supports the development and sustainment of web-based dashboards and monitoring interfaces used by the operational stakeholders.


This role contributes to the development, integration, and maintenance of monitoring tools and web interfaces supporting enterprise system management platforms. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining web applications, integrating monitoring tools into web-based dashboards, supporting application maintenance, and implementing software updates in accordance with configuration management and cybersecurity requirements.


The Web Developer works within a classified enterprise environment and collaborates with system administrators, network engineers, database administrators, and operations personnel to maintain reliable monitoring and reporting capabilities for global command and control systems


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, install, operate, and maintain web-based applications and interfaces supporting the Management Center monitoring tools.
  • Support the development and maintenance of web-based monitoring dashboards used to display operational status of monitored sites and systems.
  • Design, code, test, and maintain application components supporting enterprise monitoring tools used by contract operations teams.
  • Maintain web interfaces that integrate data from monitoring platforms and databases used to support enterprise monitoring capabilities.
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis of application and software issues impacting monitoring capabilities.
  • Support application installation, configuration, and maintenance activities for monitoring tools operating within the GMC environment.
  • Maintain proper version control and configuration management of software applications and associated source code.
  • Assist with implementing software updates, patches, and enhancements to maintain system availability and operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting application installation, configuration, and operational procedures.
  • Support testing and validation of application updates within test environments prior to deployment to production systems.


Additional Information

  • Position is located on-site
  • DAY shift position
  • Ability to support Tier II/III IT operations environments and participate in on-call operational support when required
Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility; AND,
  • Active Security+ Certification; AND,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing, testing, and implementing computer software applications or subsystems using modern programming languages and development tools.
  • Experience translating design specifications into functional software code and supporting testing, debugging, and refinement of software applications.
  • Experience supporting application maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of existing software systems.

PREFERRED:

1. Web Development:

  • Experience with HTML development for web-based interfaces and dashboards.
  • Experience with PHP programming for server-side web applications.
  • Experience with web design and development, including creating, modifying, developing, and maintaining web pages based on government requirements.

2. Application Development and Integration:

  • Experience developing web interfaces that integrate with enterprise monitoring platforms or backend data sources.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise web applications.

3. Enterprise Operations Environment:

  • Experience supporting web applications in classified or mission-critical enterprise IT environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools or operational dashboards supporting IT operations.
