Job description

We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Developer to contribute to the evolution, integration, and optimization of Guidewire solutions within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will actively participate in the technical analysis, development, testing, and deployment of solutions that meet the business needs of the insurance sector.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, etc.).
  • Participate in business needs analysis and the definition of technical solutions.
  • Develop and configure Guidewire components while adhering to best practices.
  • Perform integrations with internal and external systems using web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with functional analysts, architects, and business teams.
  • Ensure technical documentation for developed solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven experience with the Guidewire platform (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter).
  • Excellent command of Java and the Gosu language.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, and application integrations.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills in French.
