Capital Markets Manager

Reports to: SVP, Capital Markets

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Capital Markets Manager is a high-impact finance professional who supports the SVP of Capital Markets in building and executing LV Petroleum's capital strategy. This role provides analytical, transaction, financing, and investor-facing support across debt and equity initiatives, acquisitions, refinancing activity, liquidity planning, lender relationships, and executive decision support. The successful candidate combines rigorous financial analysis with excellent execution, communication, and project-management discipline in a fast-growing, multi-entity operating environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support the SVP of Capital Markets in evaluating, structuring, and executing debt, equity, refinancing, acquisition financing, and other strategic capital initiatives. 
  • Build and maintain financial models, including financing scenarios, cash flow forecasts, debt capacity analyses, returns analyses, sensitivity cases, and transaction economics. 
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, financing materials, lender and investor updates, data books, management responses, and decision-support analyses. 
  • Coordinate transaction processes, due diligence, workplans, timelines, approvals, closing requirements, and post-closing deliverables. 
  • Monitor debt facilities, liquidity, maturities, covenant requirements, interest expense, hedging considerations, and capital structure performance. 
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Real Estate, Development, and Operations to gather, validate, and present financial and operating information. 
  • Manage recurring reporting and information requests from lenders, investors, rating agencies, advisors, and other capital partners as assigned. 
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking related to interest rates, credit markets, financing structures, valuation, and relevant industry activity. 
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and data gaps; elevate issues early and present clear recommendations to the SVP of Capital Markets. 
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential transaction files, models, agreements, approvals, and capital-markets reporting. 
  • Improve analytical tools, reporting processes, documentation standards, and transaction-management practices as the Capital Markets function scales. 
  • Handle highly confidential financial and strategic information with exceptional judgment, professionalism, and discretion. 

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS 

Works directly with the SVP of Capital Markets and partners cross-functionally with Executive Leadership, Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Real Estate, Construction, Development, and Operations. The role also coordinates with lenders, investors, financial institutions, consultants, and outside advisors. This position may lead workstreams and project teams but is not expected to have direct reports at inception. 

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, credit, transaction advisory, treasury, or a closely related field. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. 
  • Demonstrated experience building complex financial models and translating analysis into executive-level recommendations. 
    • Strong knowledge of debt and equity financing, credit analysis, valuation, transaction execution, financial statements, and cash flow analysis. 
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to produce accurate, executive-ready work products. 
    • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams, deadlines, stakeholders, and confidential matters with limited supervision. 
    • Excellent analytical, written, verbal, organizational, and project-management skills. 
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
    • MBA, CFA progress, CPA, or other relevant advanced credential. 
    • Experience supporting multi-site, real estate-intensive, retail, hospitality, fuel, transportation, or rapidly growing operating businesses. 
    • Experience with acquisitions, refinancing, lender diligence, debt compliance, investor materials, or rating-agency processes. 
    • Familiarity with financial data platforms, treasury systems, reporting tools, and transaction data rooms.
