Job Title: Senior Usability Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA

We are seeking a Senior Usability Engineer with 5–8+ years of experience in Human Factors/Usability Engineering to support a medical device program. The ideal candidate will lead usability studies, develop test protocols, conduct simulated-use sessions with clinical users, and deliver actionable insights to improve product design and safety.

Required Skills:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Usability/Human Factors Engineering
  • Experience designing and executing usability studies
  • Strong protocol/report writing and insight synthesis skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and independently drive testing programs

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with risk analysis and uFMEA
  • Background working with healthcare professionals in clinical or simulated-use environments
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design validation
