How does a UX Design Mentor typically balance providing guidance with encouraging independent problem-solving in mentees?

A UX Design Mentor often walks a fine line between offering direct advice and fostering independent thinking. In practice, mentors guide mentees by asking probing questions, sharing relevant experiences, and recommending resources, rather than giving prescriptive solutions. This approach helps mentees develop critical problem-solving skills and confidence in their own design process. Regular check-ins and feedback sessions are common, ensuring that mentees feel supported while still being challenged to grow independently.
