Job description


The Senior Treasury Management Sales Officer is responsible for the sale of Treasury Management services through the generation of new opportunities as well as expanding existing relationships by working directly with relationship managers and others in the bank to identify and develop new business. The Senior Treasury Sales Officer helps inform leadership on the competitive landscape and may provide insights and advice to other team members.
Responsibilities
  1. Engages prospective customers to develop new treasury management and non-credit business.
  2. Meets periodically with existing customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business relationships.
  3. Prepares sales presentations, explains offerings, and recommends value added services.
  4. Coordinates onboarding plans with internal partners for new and existing customers.
  5. Ensures other Bank employees are aware of the Bank's treasury management and non-credit business sales activities and to ensure they assist in promoting the Bank's marketing effort in these areas.
  6. Works in conjunction with relationship managers to promote the bank's treasury management and non-credit business program.
  7. Assists in the design and proper installation of treasury management services.
  8. May assist and guide other Treasury Management sales personnel to further their growth and that of the team.
  9. Participates in product development activities with other stakeholders by recommending and collaborating on new service capabilities and pricing strategies.
  10. Assumes additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field OR combination of equivalent relevant work experience and high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in Treasury Management sales required.
  • Must have strong, demonstrated sales and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of customers, clients, and Bank personnel.
  • Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Must be self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail, high level of accountability, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office suite of products, and the ability to learn and utilize custom banking systems and applications.
  • Must be able to travel locally to meet with current and prospective clients as well as to meet with internal company contacts such as loan officers.
