Position: Plant Operations Coordinator
Schedule: Full-time, 40-hours/week; Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (occasional on-call responsibilities)
Pay: $25-$28 per hour

General Summary:
The Plant Operations Coordinator is responsible for aiding with the overall planning, development, organization and implementation of services and procedures within the facilities services department. This role primarily handles state and federal compliance, routine safety inspection visits, and the associated paperwork. This position is the primary intake for both staff and resident work ticket requests. This position assists with new resident move-ins in accordance with established policies and procedures of StoneRidge.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Takes direction from Facility Manager and Facilities Director with all administrative functions in the Facilities Department.
  • Input requests into the WorxHub work order system for both Staff and Resident concerns. Handles direct communication with residents, opening and closing work orders, completing entry of work complete and tracking the time and material expended.
  • Coordinates and schedules subcontractors' access to apartments
  • Managers purchasing, inventory, accounts payable, resident billing, shipping and receiving
  • Schedule IT, facilities and grounds appointments.
  • Manage Woodshop budget tracker
  • Assists with the scheduling and tracking of special projects.
  • Coordinates department functions and services with those of other departments.
  • Coordinates key control process.
  • Maintains knowledge of and ability to use proficiently all necessary computer systems, including but not limited to: WorxHub, Asset Management system, AP Express, Sharepoint Security Management system, POS system, camera system and card access
  • Prepare badges for residents and staff.
  • Work with Director of Facilities on Capex and operation expenses/budget
  • Maintain PO's for operations budget and facilities on major Capex projects.
  • Assistant with submittals, RFPs and proposals
  • Collaborate with Finance, Executive and Facilities Directors on achieving Capex budget.
  • Additional work proposals for apartments upgrades, flooring, electrical, paint, plumbing, kitchen cabinets, ect.
  • Mark-up collect payments
  • Recommend improvements and offer suggestions as appropriate.
  • Utilizes time in an efficient manner, completing duties in a timely fashion.
  • Participate in the orientation and development of new employees.
  • Maintains skills and competencies utilized in work areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Other Duties:
  • Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information to assure HIPAA policies are followed and resident rights are protected. Respects and maintains resident confidentiality. Follows all aspects of Standards of Conduct and Corporate Compliance.
  • Reports all incidents/accidents immediately. Reports all unsafe/hazardous conditions equipment immediately. Ensure established safety regulations are followed
  • Participates in quality assurance and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in business or related field or 4 years equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of with CCRCs, Healthcare settings and Memory Care facilities
  • Knowledge of Business Amazon
  • Proficient with various accounting processes
  • Strong organization and multitasking abilities
  • Resourcefulness under pressure
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Strong computer skills and aptitude.
  • Experience with phone systems (voice over IP, Avaya)

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
Moderate physical effort; must be able to lift 20 pounds; must be able to walk, stand and stoop for an extended period of time (over 80% of the time); exposure to a variety of chemicals and dust daily; may be exposed to the HBV and HIV viruses.
